The Doors of Perception

Aldous Huxley really started something when he published The Doors of Perception in 1954.  It described his experience with mescaline and is one of the things that inspired the psychedelic revolution.

I never used psychedelic drugs myself, although some of my friends did.  They all told me that I did not need to take drugs because I was naturally stoned—whatever that means!  In any case, I have always liked psychedelic imagery and this is my interpretation of Huxley's infamous book.
