Yet again I have copied somebody else's creation.  I am forever saying that there is art all around us if we take the time to notice it.  I saw this basic design on a sign put up by the Time To Paint company, a local painting contractor.  Their sign has gold paint on a white background whereas mine is orange with a pale blue background.  Think of pumpkins smashing into the sky.

No I didn't think up this design.  But I did notice how enchanting it was—worth celebrating, preserving and contemplating.   So I own the idea.  Or, I own it as much as any artist owns any idea.

Perhaps the Time to Paint company will notice this painting that they inspired and want to buy if for the mere $150 that I am selling it for.

You want my advice:   stop going to museums and just take a good look at the world around you.  You're welcome.
